Neil Carroll

Neil, who is from London, is an artist who taught himself. Despite the pressures of everyday life, his aspiration of becoming a painter remained steadfast. Neil, who has been painting in oils since 2011, achieved his goal of becoming a full-time artist in 2017.

In 2014, Neil’s painting was chosen for the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. Since that time, Neil has been engaging in the exploration and development of his individual style.

“I don’t aim to depict what is directly before me; instead, I strive to generate an artwork infused with ambiance and fascination, derived from the chosen subject.” I eliminate a large amount of detail and use broad strokes according to my current mood.
