She has earned international acclaim for her vision of tempestuous skies and chaotic landscapes. Sheryl’s distinctive style is recognisable as her unique vision of the dramatic light penetrating the vast skies.

Since 1999, Sheryl has been painting professionally and splits her time between her studios in Leeds and Weardale, County Durham. Sheryl’s inspiration comes from the windswept high moors of the North Pennines, and her goal is to capture the communication between the skies and the landscape.

“I primarily use oil paints, applying layers gradually using brushes and knives to enhance the vibrancy and depth of each artwork.” While using a highly classical composition and traditional technique, my goal is to convey a contemporary sensation.

Showcasing her work at different places in the UK and also in various international locations, including New York, Amsterdam, and Paris. Sheryl continues to engage in customised commissions and sell artwork to private collectors in the UK and beyond.

All UK orders include FREE DELIVERY and are despatched fully insured against damage in transit. Your artwork will arrive in sturdy cardboard packaging on a next day courier service that operates Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5.30pm.

We aim to deliver unframed orders within 7 working days, stock permitting. If we are out of stock of your item, we will contact you immediately. Please allow up to 14 days for framed orders to arrive with you.

When we despatch your order, we will send you an email the day before. Don’t worry if you’re not in to receive it, our friendly couriers will leave you a message on how to contact them for re-delivery.

If you have a special delivery date you need us to work to, please get in touch, we will always do our best to accommodate.

Delivery Overseas

All international orders over £800 include FREE DELIVERY. Orders below this value will incur a small delivery charge calculated at checkout. International orders will be delivered to you in sturdy packaging and be fully insured against damage in transit.

We aim to deliver unframed international orders to you within 10 working days, stock permitting. If we are out of stock of your item, we will contact you immediately. Please allow up to 16 days for framed orders.

Returning An Item

If you would like to return your order for any reason, please contact us by email at sales@whitehorsegallery.co.uk explaining your reason for the return. We will then liaise personally with you for a simple and successful return.

We can only process a full refund if the art arrives back to us in a re-saleable condition. The cost of re-packing and returning the item will be your responsibility and we advise you to use a signed for insured courier service as you will still be liable for the cost of the art if it is lost or damaged in transit. Please note that any custom pieces cannot be refunded.

Upon receipt of the returned item in a re-saleable condition, we will process your refund within 2 days of return.
