Troika, a globally recognised art collective, consists of three artists who have collaborated to produce some of the art world’s most pioneering and technologically advanced artworks.

Eva and Connie are German, while Sebastien is born in France. They reside and collaborate in London, and their artwork is showcased in galleries including the Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles, OMR in Mexico City, and Ron Mardos in Amsterdam.

Combining their love and passion for music, film, and contemporary culture, they have collaborated on projects despite their thriving individual careers in the creative industries.

Their work, which is dynamic and exciting, offers an understanding of their diverse talents as street artists and their techniques in illustrative and mixed media painting. In their studio, “The Bunker”, they work on every piece together and associate the experience of playing in a band, with each member taking the lead at any moment.

Starting with digitally created stencils and patterns, the process continues with handwork involving layering up mixed media and painted mediums. The inspiration comes from the far east and Urban graphics, utilising spray paints, inks, acrylics, and oils.

The image is built up through the layers and typically concludes with the addition of a figurative element in the final step.
