We are now looking for Part-Time Art Curators to join our friendly gallery team.

A genuine interest and enthusiasm for art is a must. If you are outgoing, approachable, reliable and hard working this role may be for you.

Primarily a sales position, we need you to be able to meet and greet our customers and positively enhance their shopping experience. You will need to proactively engage with our clients, create new leads and generate footfall and sales both online and within the gallery.

Hours may include weekend, evenings, events and holiday cover. In return we offer an attractive pay and commission with achievable sales targets.

A strong appreciation of art is obviously preferred to become a fully-fledged Art Consultant and be more successful in art sales. The role is about generating sales but is definitely not a hard sell – you will work towards realistic sales targets and generate new business through a self-motivated approach.

You will also proactively make daily calls to promote the gallery – this is key to help increase the footfall & generate more sales. Luxury retail can generate lower footfall so the gallery prides themselves on account managing clients over the phone & email, making daily client list calls & generating prospective business through a self-starting approach.

You will need to be confident with updating social media handles such as Facebook, Instagram and have a good understanding on promoting the gallery online.
